White Plains Linen Complex Feasibility Study

The Former White Plains Linen Complex Feasibility Study has been completed and is now available to view here.

Throughout 2015 and the first half od 2016, the City of Peekskill worked with a team of consultants to evaluate potential reuse strategies for the former White Plains Linen complex.

At a public workshop on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, the City and its consultants gave a brief presentation and heard the input and ideas of neighborhood residents and other stakeholders, which are being incorporated into the study.  A video of the meeting can be viewed here and a meeting summary is also available.

BFJ Planning, the City's lead consultant on this project, has prepared a draft Land Use, Zoning, and Transportation Analysis (see here) and a draft Market Analysis (see here) of the former White Plains Linen site. Stephen Tilly, Architect (STA), a member of the consultant team, has also prepared a powerpoint providing a short history of the site (see here).

A second public workshop was held on November 18th. A video of the meeting can be viewed here, and a summary of the meeting is available here
