The Rising Tide Boat Building Program runs after-school during the year and over the summer enabling youth and adults to build rowboats together, becoming an experience that builds self-esteem and self-confidence, while providing students with hands-on experiences incorporating math, technology, environmental sciences, ecology studies, and team building skills (reinforcing many different subjects that the kids learn in school, and additionally instilling a sense of pride and self-worth).
