Fire hydrant flushing will be conducted in the City of Peekskill

Fire hydrant flushing in Peekskill will begin Monday, June 7th after midnight and will continue through the early morning hours citywide. Flushing will resume Tuesday, June 8th and Wednesday, June 9th after midnight into the early morning hours.

Residents are advised to watch for discolored water while using water for food preparation, laundry or other water-sensitive processes.

All city residents are asked to flush cold water faucets for approximately 15 minutes or until the water clears. Persistent problems should be reported to the Water Department at 734-4150 by early afternoon.
