The Peekskill City School District will hold a community budget forum on Saturday, March 20 at 8:30 a.m. The forum, held at the Peekskill Middle School, is hosted by the District’s Citizens’ Budget Advisory Committee, a group of local residents who have been analyzing the budget expenditures and anticipated revenues, and by the Superintendent of Schools. The session will begin with an overview of the budget challenges facing the District and will include small group discussions. Members of the Committee and the Board of Education will be on hand to hear suggestions and comments. The presentation will be in English and Spanish, and child care will be available. All residents are encouraged to attend.
