Common Council Meeting Rules of Decorum

In order to afford members of the public an equal and fair opportunity to freely voice their concerns and issues without  interruption, the Common Council has adopted the attached Rules of Decorum.

The Rules of Decorum have been implemented to:

Promote and ensure public participation in Common Council meetings.

To facilitate the effective undertaking of City business.

To allow the public to be heard in a fair and impartial manner, open to all viewpoints and protective of the content of each speakers' speech.
