On August 6, 2009 Entergy Corp hosted a dinner at the Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant to benefit the City of Peekskill Youth Police Academy. Over 250 people attended this extemely successful event which saw the current Youth Academy Cadets receive awards, present Public Service Announcements on pedestrian safety, and conduct a demonstration of "roll call". The City of Peekskill Police Department also received a proclamation from Sentator Schumer, recognizing the 7 year program. We are already planning and looking forward to next years academy.
