Water Billing/Collection: Under the supervision of Lori Klein, this function is responsible for the billing of water rents. The City of Peekskill is separated into two and one Commercial zone. The three zones are billed on a quarterly basis and the commercial zone on a monthly basis. The bills are based on consumption multiplied by a rate that is set by the City Council. Please note that it is important to notify this office of any address changes or if you want a renter to receive the bill. Please remember that the property owner is ultimately responsible for the water bill. Also if you are selling or buying property in the City of Peekskill, please have a final bill processed prior to closing. This office must have at least 48 hours prior notice for any final reading date. The Assessors office must also be notified of any permanent address changes in order for the property tax bill to be mailed to the correct address. The Assessor's number is (914) 734-4190.
