One of Peekskill's busiest intersections and entrance way into dowtown is going to receive a big improvement in 2011, as Walgreens Pharmacy gets ready to open thier first store in Northern Westchester County. This is one of three Walgreens which broke ground in Westchester County in 2010 by Marc Steinberg of Mark Investments, Inc.

The 11,062 square foot Walgreens pharmacy will be built on six parcels of land which previously contained a used car dealership, an auto-body shop, a vacant residential building and a vacant lot. The store will have 40 parking spaces and a drive through window.
