The City of Peekskill’s strategic location continues to attract developers, even in during this economic downturn, to the city’s remaining new development sites and prospective redevelopment sites.
The City of Peekskill offers developers the following advantages:
• Located within and adjacent to the two wealthiest counties in New York State
• Having a commuter train station with a 55 minute commute to New York City's Grand Central Terminal
• Being situated at the crossroads of both east/west and north/south state highways - Route 9, 6, 202, and 35
• Located less than one hour from three international airports JFK, LaGuardia, and Stewart International Airport (which is only 35 minutes from downtown Peekskill)
The sizes and types of proposed commercial development on the horizon are as diverse as the city’s population and offer both national developers and individuals the opportunity to excellent development opportunities.
