Rose, wife of 30 years, died in April 2003 after a long fight with cancer.  Damon, a graduate of Morgan University and ROTC in Baltimore, is a US Army Major, stationed in Virginia. Damon and his wife Althea are the parents of  Michaela.
Born in Baltimore Md., graduated from Edmondson High in 1968 and attended Baltimore Community College. Arrived in Westchester in 1984 as manager of the former Steinbach department store in Peekskill. Moved to Peekskill in January 1997.
