The Westchester County Veterans Service Agency will be at City Hall in Peekskill (in the Council Chambers) on Wednesday, May 18th between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon to distribute free parking passes to Veterans for Playland. Sunday, May 29th is Veterans and Service Members Appreciation Day at Playland - Veterans with valid ID Cards get one free parking pass, one free admission wrist band and discounts on rides for themselves and their immediate family.

The Common Council of the City of Peekskill hereby finds and declares that it is desirable to take measures to provide for the designation of historic districts and landmarks in furtherance of the following public purposes, which are found to promote the economic benefits, the cultural and educational advantages, and the general welfare of the City of Peekskill:
 

The Zoning Board of Appeals shall have all the powers and duties prescribed by New York Sate Law and by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Peekskill, which are more particularly specified as follows:

 
A. Interpretation. Upon appeal from a decision by the Director, to decide any question involving the interpretation of any provision of this chapter, including determination of the exact location of any district boundary if there is uncertainty with respect thereto.
